HOPE, County of Marin Behavioral Health and Recovery Services
We will be representing the HOPE and Senior Peer Counseling Program from the County of Marin's Behavioral Health and Recovery Services department. We hope to attract Senior Peer Counselors as well as spread the word about our mental health services.
The Senior Peer Counseling Program provides in home mental health assessment, counseling, and consultation to people age 60 and older in English and Spanish. Our volunteer counselors provide emotional support and practical tools to assist older adults to cope with the many transitions and realities of aging. They help clients deal with change, remain independent as long as possible and cultivate a positive approach to aging.
